New CloudWatch Services: Monitoring Elastic Beanstalk and EC2 Container Service

One of Librato’s most useful features is the ability to visualize and provide insight into your AWS CloudWatch metrics. Today we are announcing support for two more AWS services: Elastic Beanstalk and EC2 Container Service

Elastic Beanstalk simplifies the process of deploying and running web applications in the Amazon cloud. EC2 Container Service, also known as ECS, is a container management system that makes it easy to run and scale your infrastructure with Docker containers. Now you can bring the ease and power of Librato monitoring to these two AWS services.

Be sure to update your AWS IAM credentials with the necessary permissions for any CloudWatch services you've enabled. Elastic Beanstalk support requires additional setup to enable enhanced metrics for your environment.

If you are a Librato user, once you've updated the IAM policy and enabled the new services in your CloudWatch integration, you should see your preconfigured Spaces for ECS and Elastic Beanstalk.
